Privacy notice

We collect as little as we need, we use it only for the reasons below, and we never sell your data.

Who we are

The Martial Camp is part of The Martial Man. The organisation responsible for your personal data (the data controller) is MARTIAL MAN PTE. LTD., a company incorporated in Singapore, with its registered address at 60 Paya Lebar Road, #06-28, Paya Lebar Square, Singapore 409051. You can contact us about anything in this notice at [email protected].

The interest list

What we collect: your name and email address; optionally your martial arts background, any instructor or style you’d especially like to see at a future camp, and your preferred time of year. We also record that you ticked the consent box, the exact wording you agreed to, and the date and time.

Why: to email you about future camps and workshops from The Martial Man, and to plan camps that match what people are interested in. We rely on your consent for this.

Unsubscribing: you can withdraw your consent and leave the list at any time by emailing [email protected], or by replying to any email we send you. We’ll stop emailing you straight away.

The contact form

Your name, email address and message, used only to reply to you and keep a record of the conversation.

Bookings

When a camp is open for booking, payments are handled by Stripe. We receive your name, email and booking details, but never your full card number. We use these to run the event you booked and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Where your data is kept

Form submissions are stored in a secure cloud database, and this website is hosted on a global network, so your data may be processed outside your own country. We only use reputable providers that protect it appropriately, and we keep it only for as long as we need it for the purposes above.

Your rights

You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or tell us to stop using it, by emailing [email protected]. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, please tell us first; you may also have the right to complain to the data protection authority where you live.
