Terms & refund policy

These terms apply to every Martial Camp event, including camps and workshops. By booking a place you agree to them. If anything is unclear, please ask before you book.

Health and fitness

  • By booking, you confirm you have no medical condition that makes physical exercise unsafe for you, and that you have checked with your doctor where appropriate.
  • Please tell us straight away if you develop an injury, illness or condition before or during the event, or feel discomfort during any exercise. We may ask you to sit out an activity if we think it’s necessary for your safety.

Deposits, refunds and transfers

  • All bookings are non-refundable. We commit to the venue, teachers and suppliers well in advance, and this policy lets us run the event properly.
  • If you can’t attend, you may transfer your place to another person up to 30 days before the event starts. Please tell us in writing. An administration fee may apply.
  • Where an instalment plan is offered, all instalments must be paid by the dates shown at checkout to keep your place.
  • We strongly recommend travel insurance that covers cancellation, medical care and personal belongings.
  • If we have to cancel an event ourselves, we will contact you directly about a refund or a transfer to a future event.

Changes to the programme

The schedule, activities and line-up of teachers may change for reasons outside our control. We’ll always aim to replace like with like and let you know as early as possible.

Photography and video

We photograph and film sessions and activities. By taking part, you give us permission to use this material to promote The Martial Camp on our websites, social media and promotional materials, without payment. If you have a particular concern, please talk to us before the event.

Personal property

You are responsible for your own belongings. We are not liable for anything lost, stolen or damaged.

Limitation of liability

Martial arts and physical training carry some risk of injury. To the extent the law allows, we and our teachers are not liable for personal injury, loss of property or business losses connected with the event. Nothing in these terms limits liability for negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot be excluded by law. We make no representations or warranties about the event beyond those set out here.

General

If any part of these terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These terms, and any dispute about an event, are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have jurisdiction.

The Martial Camp is part of The Martial Man. Events are organised by MARTIAL MAN PTE.
